The sun the moon and a star

There is an invisible master who keeps me by the hand
A God who protects me and makes me go to a faraway land.

I see a star from the morning,
and a moon or is it just a half
that lights my path.

Now a gentle breeze
then a satisfying breath
even the light inside of me I often give as a gift.

For love is like a bridge that helps to be present.

The Power of Love

I'll protect you from the hooded claw
Keep the vampires from your door

(aaaiaiaiaii...)
Feels like fire
I'm so in love with you
Dreams are like angels
They keep bad at bay, bad at bay
Love is the light
Scaring darkness away
I'm so in love with you
Purge the soul
Make love your goal
The power of love
A force from above
Cleaning my soul
Flame on burn desire
Love with tongues of fire
Purge the soul
Make love your goal
I'll protect you from the hooded claw

If.....

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,

Michael Jackson

Thank you Michael!
Thank you for your smile
Thank you for the love you shared with the world

A PSALM OF LIFE

WHAT THE HEART OF THE YOUNG MAN
SAID TO THE PSALMIST

TELL me not, in mournful numbers,
Life is but an empty dream ! —
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
And things are not what they seem.

Life is real ! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal ;
Dust thou art, to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul.

Not enjoyment, and not sorrow,
Is our destined end or way ;
But to act, that each to-morrow
Find us farther than to-day.

The greatest

Little boy in a baseball hat stands in the field with his ball and bat
Says, "I am the greatest player of them all"
Puts his bat on his shoulder and he tosses up his ball.
And the ball goes up and the ball comes down,
Swings his bat all the way around
The world so still you can hear the sound, the baseball falls to the ground.
Now the little boy doesn't say a word, picks up his ball he is undeterred.
Says, "I am the greatest that there has ever been"
And he grits his teeth and he tries again.
And the ball goes up and the ball comes down,
Swings his bat all the way around

The Raven

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore--
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
"'Tis some visiter," I muttered, "tapping at my chamber door--
Only this and nothing more."

Ah, distinctly I remember it was in the bleak December,
And each separate dying ember wrought its ghost upon the floor.
Eagerly I wished the morrow;--vainly I had sought to borrow
From my books surcease of sorrow--sorrow for the lost Lenore--

On Our Way Back Home

I know I can't see how you see
I know you can't see how I see
We really don't need to agree at all
We're both in separate grocery lines
You're in your world. I'm in mine.
Living our own dreams, great or small.

We're on our way - On our way - On our way back home

Some to cities - Some to fields
Some outspoken - Some concealed
Some religion - Some no god to call
Some to privilege - Some to lack
Some the future - Some the past
Always moving toward a common goal

We're on our way - On our way - On our way back home (2)
On our way back home (3)
